“Since the couple was having an intimate ceremony in the mountains, Marvin and Mary Ellen wanted to have a relaxed engagement party with their Colorado crew. Catered by the women owned and operated Forage Sisters, the food was out of this world. Fish and vegetarian dishes served family style! All dishes were cooked Al fresco on a wood fired grill. The meal ended with s’mores on the fire pit for all the kiddos and grilled peaches with local honey for the adults. Emily Scott Robinson, a Colorado singer and song writer, sang original hits and even sang a duet with the couples 7 year old daughter. They included a 1969 VW bus converted into a flower truck filled with blooms. Guests were able to create and take bouquets home as they departed. The magical tent is a rental from Simplify Telluride and was a perfect setting for a head table under the stars. The bride’s friend Jenny, a former Colorado girl, provided the fun linens that paired perfectly with Simplify’s china for a colorful Colorado table. Abie Livesay captured the love and laughter perfectly for lasting memories!”
