“Snow fell softly over Breckenridge as Jodi and Corey said ‘I do,’ surrounded by their favorite people in their favorite place. It was the kind of magical winter day that felt straight out of a snow globe—peaceful, sparkling, and filled with so much laughter and love. What started as a ‘crazy idea’ for a mountain winter wedding just 8 short months after they got engaged turned into pure magic, thanks to a couple who are pros at following their hearts. Their story began years earlier with a Hinge profile created over rosé on a girls’ trip, a bit of friendly peer pressure, and a picture of a guy in a backwards hat and his big white dog. That one ‘harmless-looking’ swipe turned into their ‘last first date’ next to the bathrooms of a sushi bar—where Corey’s big cheesy smile and endless talking quickly won her over. From there, Thursday nights became their favorite time-together ritual, and soon he was meeting the family in Colorado and fitting right in, like he’d always been part of the crew. When they returned to Breckenridge after that first family Christmas, it all clicked—this snowy mountain town, their dogs, the cozy stillness of winter—it was where they realized they wanted forever to begin. So, on what was likely one of the snowiest ceremonies we’ve documented, standing at the altar surrounded by fresh, falling snow, and the people who helped shaped their story, it was clear that this day, in this place, was exactly how it was always meant to be.”
