“Though they grew up just five miles apart in Upstate New York, Ali and Chris did not meet until 2020 when they each fled to the mountains of Park City, Utah. A mutual friend brought the two together and they quickly bonded over their love for travel, tacos, euchre, and the Buffalo Bills. When planning the wedding, Ali and Chris had a strong desire to share their new home in Utah with their closest family and friends. In October of 2023, 130 guests descended upon Sundance Resort in Utah from 17 different states to experience a Rocky Mountain fall in all its glory. Bright orange and yellow Aspen trees were accompanied by snow on the top of Mount Timpanogos. Guests, dressed in their best Western formal attire, arrived to the ceremony on a ski lift to witness Ali and Chris say, ‘I do’. Guests were greeting on top of the mountain with bagpipes, as the groom embraced his Scottish heritage and donned formal Scottish Highland dress. Ali’s vision for an autumn wonderland came to life through the help of many vendors and some DIY projects – including the late night s’mores, popcorn, and cider station.”
