Polished and Modern Engagements at a Colorado Springs Resort

January 4, 2026 BY: Amy

“Drew and I met in college, and it was truly love at first sight. I was a business major at the time, while Drew was a mechanical engineering major. I enrolled in Business 101, a core class for my curriculum. Drew also happened to enroll in Business 101 to fulfill his business credit. Luckily for me, we enrolled in the same class. During our first day, Drew walked in about 10 minutes late, giving me what felt like all the time in the world to watch him walk to a seat in the front and completely fall head over heels. Luckily for me, our teacher did roll call. Score! I was able to stalk him before class ended. However, after a semester of us both in class together, we only ever spoke once, as prompted in a group by our professor. I never gave up on the idea of speaking with him, but the timing never worked out quite right. Until, on the last day of class, we ended up walking out together, holding some small talk, and lots of blushing on my end. It was the sign I needed to DM him, and the rest is history! Thank goodness for Business 101! “
