“Troy and Gia met when Gia was a senior in college. She was going downtown with some of her college friends. One of her close college friends had invited another group of friends to join them downtown. One of those invited friends happened to be Troy. They came over to Gia’s college house and made their way downtown. They became fast friends and hung out frequently. After 7 months of friendship they made it official. Fast forward four years, Troy proposed! Gia had booked a trip for his 30th birthday in Mexico with their families and friends. He proposed during a sunset cruise with the sweetest speech! It was the most beautiful scenery and magical day! ‘When we got engaged, getting ready for planning was a little scary for Troy and I. We both had no idea where to start. One our friends, Kylynn, is getting married in June and recommended that we use her photographer, Taryn. Troy and I are so thrilled we met and get to work with Taryn. She made us a feel so comfortable and was so helpful! When, trying to figure out what I was going to wear, I searched so many different stores and looked at pictures for inspiration. Since living in Colorado we never know what kind of weather are going to get. I knew I wanted a color that popped so I chose a hot pink dress with the puffy sleeves! It just worked out so perfectly that it had snowed two days prior to give the dress an extra pop. Taryn did such a wonderful job capturing us and our personalities!'”
