Playful Engagement Session in the Colorado Fall

“These cuties traveled all the way from Chicago, Illinois for their engagement photos in Breckenridge, Colorado. We met for sunrise on Boreas Pass, a stunning dirt road leading through golden fall foliage to expansive Rocky Mountain views in late September-early October. This is one of my go-to locations for easy accessibility and stunning light—sunrise or sunset, it’s a beautiful scene for engagements and micro weddings! In Kelly’s own words, ‘We first met each other over ten years ago while we were attending Ohio State University. We had plenty of mutual friends, but our worlds didn’t collide until much later in life. After graduation, Mitch moved away for work and I continued school in Ohio. Five years later, I moved to Chicago on a whim. We saw each other from across the room at a friend of ours’ house party and that is where our love story finally began. We have been inseparable since then, sharing our love of traveling, hiking, and all things outdoors, with Mitch popping the question in Joshua Tree National Park. Breckenridge, Colorado was where we took our very first trip together and where we first fell in love, so it only felt appropriate to go back to the mountains to celebrate our biggest adventure yet.'”
