Picturesque Canyon Elopement in Utah

“The morning of their wedding was warm, with blue skies, and quickly warmed up for a early September day. The drive into the Zion area was full of curves that followed the land, and lead you down into the canyons for a day. The couple, McKenzie and Tyler had just road tripped over night with their then six month old baby and the bride’s mom to have their personal, intimate adventure. Their cabin was at Zion Mountain Ranch and had this perfect overlook as you stood off the back porch, and where we set up their sweetheart table for dinner. The funny part was it was very hot so ended up eating inside at their kitchen table. While the groom, Tyler, and the bride’s mom hung out with their baby, we all giggled and shared stories as McKenzie got her hair and makeup done. Their details were the perfect colors to match Zion landscapes, and was their very first national park. Now it’s forever where they exchanged vows. While the morning unfolded we got Tyler ready, and then did a private first look on the porch of their cabin. These two were full of life and exchanged a laughing filled hug ready to enjoy their day dressed up. From their first look we explored Zion Mountain Ranch, and was able to sneak down to their greenhouse. They do food to table and where we would later share a late dinner. From the ranch we then Jetset to Zion National Park for their ceremony. Vows, flowers, and wide eyes it was amazing to see the wander across their faces taking in the views. Their chosen ceremony spot was the Temple of Sinawava so we got on the shuttle and headed straight there. Off the path and near the water we set the scene for them to exchange vows and mix their unity sand. After their ceremony we changed our shoes and started exploring! We hopped off and on the shuttle to explore different parts of the park, and adventure down different hiking paths. Once sunset started we headed for the overlook so we could take in the last bit of light at the top of the canyon. The day was truly full of laughter, wanderlust, and just taking in the moment. From the overlook we headed back to Zion Mountain Ranch for dinner and cake. Ending the day around 10:30 that night, and wishing it could last for a few more days.”
