“Jackson and I have a deep love for the outdoors and feel closest to God when we are in nature, so we knew right away that we wanted our entire wedding to be outdoors. I am a wedding vendor myself, so I’m constantly seeing venues on Instagram, and years before I met Jackson, I dreamt of getting married at Boulder Flower Farm. Although we have no ties to Colorado or Boulder, other than loving its sheer beauty, we booked Boulder Flower Farm sight unseen and trusted in our vision for a laid-back, intimate September garden party. When we stepped foot on the property just months before the big day, it was more than we could have dreamed. The weekend festivities started bright and early on Friday morning with our wedding party gathering for breakfast at Snooze, A.M. Eatery. It was the perfect way to fuel up and share a moment with just our friends before meeting all our guests later that morning at the trailhead for a hike up First Flatiron. Seeing friends and family come together and embrace the adventure and difficulty of the hike made for unforgettable memories. As evening rolled around, we continued the welcome celebration at My Neighbor Felix in downtown Boulder. The atmosphere buzzed with joy as we enjoyed delicious drinks, tacos, and churros. It was the perfect way to kick off the celebrations for the big day. The wedding day itself unfolded in the farmland north of Boulder at Boulder Flower Farm, a Tuscan-inspired venue filled with ten acres of gardens, flowers, creeks, and lush green grass. When we say it was one of the best days of our lives, we wholeheartedly mean it. We wanted our wedding to be centered on our faith and to spend quality time with our most loved and cherished people. Every single vendor was unbelievable in making our vision come to life and truly went above and beyond our expectations. One of the highlights of our day was switching cocktail hour with coffee hour, as coffee is a huge part of our relationship. Selah Coffee Co. made the most delicious espresso tonic, a go-to of ours, which we were excited to share with everyone since it’s not a very popular coffee choice. From the perfectly curated wild florals and tablescape by Arise Floral to the most beautiful invitation suite and day-of stationery designed by Creative Line & Co., we were in love with every single moment and detail. None of it would have been remotely possible without Madison at Amara Collective, our wonderful month-of-coordinator. We cried, we laughed, and Jackson danced harder than anyone’s ever seen, but mostly, we left that evening with hearts full of gratitude. We were fortunate enough to also spend Sunday with our photographer and videographer, Karson of Wild Pines Collective and Kaden of Weddings by Kaden, frolicking through yellow grasses beneath vast skies at Rocky Mountain National Park. This was such a special time for Jackson and me to reflect on the previous day and hang out with our favorite people, Karson and Kaden. These memories will be cherished for a lifetime, and we chose the best people to capture them. We are so incredibly blessed.”
