“When this bride, an interior designer, set out to plan her wedding at Black Iron Ranch, she knew the space had to feel refined and modern while still honoring western heritage. From the moment she found the venue, it checked every box: contemporary design, western character, and timeless beauty. She personally curated every detail herself, grounding the palette in soft neutrals, rich greens, and layered textures so the venue’s natural beauty stayed the focal point. Her guiding question throughout planning was simple: ‘Will I still love this ten years from now?’ Horses were non-negotiable. She’s always felt a deep connection to them, and having horses and horse stalls on-site made a lifelong dream come true. The couple wove personal touches throughout the day, including marble bar menus and table numbers nodding to her husband Robbie’s career in the natural stone industry, and a s’mores bar inspired by family camping trips with their boys. For them, the venue itself reflected a shared dream of one day living on a ranch. Her favorite moment was stepping back and seeing the space she’d poured her heart into come to life, surrounded by everyone who chose to be there celebrating with them. And her advice to future couples: hire a day-of coordinator. It’s her one wedding-day regret, and she believes it would have let her be even more present in the moment.”
