“Jenn and Shaun couldn’t have been more excited for about their summer wedding at Foster Creek Farm in Bozeman, Montana. From the rolling hills to the epic mountains, Montana was the perfect backdrop for a wedding that is both elegant and laid-back. The couple hosted their friends and family from out-of-state for a special weekend sharing all that Montana has to offer and that famous big sky. When Jenn and Shaun first visited Foster Creek Farm in Bozeman, they knew it was the one. The rustic white barn’s high ceilings, exposed beams, and slight industrial modern touches create the perfect mix of rustic and romantic. The outdoor space, with its stunning views of the mountains and fields, was the perfect spot for the ceremony and cocktail hour. Including a horse drawn carriage for the couple, with lawn games and a beer truck for the cocktail hour that was a guest favorite! Jenn opted for a dress that was both comfortable and elegant. She found the perfect gown with a off the shoulder detail, delicate lace, and long train that looked so romantic for sunset portraits. Shaun opted for timeless look of a navy suit with light blue linen vest. Since it was very hot day in July, Shaun still looked comfortable and put together when he took his jacket off. Their bridal party complimented the beautiful couple and scenery with their rust orange and champagne silk dresses with navy suits to match. The flowers, designed by Wild Willow, had a romantic and eclectic feel, matching the bridesmaid’s color scheme of oranges, blush, and champagne. The centerpieces had a mix of colorful summer blooms, including dahlias, peonies, ranunculus and sweet peas. Low, ground installs for the ceremony kept the amazing views unobstructed and then were utilized to line the barn’s staircase to the dance floor! The gorgeous wood farmhouse tables were softened with sheer runners and sage green napkins, and whitewashed country chairs. It felt warm and inviting with candles lining the tables and assorted vintage candlesticks. Lots of cozy seating scattered around every corner of the property made for a relaxed day where guests could enjoy a custom cocktail, huckleberry margaritas! The couple wanted a band that could keep their guests dancing all night long. They found the perfect group, Raise the Roof Band, that played a mix of country and classic rock – perfect for their Montana barn wedding. They even accommodated the brides’ mother and sisters to an impromptu performance of Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody, that became an instant core memory for the couple! That evenings sunset is what song writers and poets dream of when thinking of Montana. The kind of sky that makes people fly across the country to exchange their vows under it. Jenn and Shaun snuck away for a few moments with us to capture their couple’s portraits in the golden light. You could’ve told me it was a painting and I would’ve believed you. Jenn even shed a few happy tears as the sun dipped, taking in the beauty and joy of the day. Most importantly, they were so grateful to have everyone travel to Montana to share in their special day. It will be a celebration they and their guests will never forget.”
