Lovely Rustic and Pink Ranch Wedding

January 6, 2023 BY: Bailey

“Drae and Breanna were introduced through a mutual friend when they were both still teenagers, 19 to be exact. Their chemistry was immediate. Drae knew right away when he met Breanna, she was his one and only. Breanna knew it right away too, but she took a little longer to admit it. Drae was drawn to Breanna’s sense of humor and passion for life, while Breanna couldn’t resist Drae’s infectious personality and charm. Their love blossomed over their mutual love of Thai food, documentaries, exercise, the outdoors, coffee, and Christmas lights. Now after 8 years together, they cannot wait to tie the knot and start their happily ever after!”

The Proposal

“The morning started out like any other. Breanna had plans to go out to brunch with her best friend Kilee. At brunch Kilee asked if Breanna would be interested in going to a garage sale. Breanna didn’t think anything of this as her and Kilee would frequently go “garage saling” back in high school. Breanna did become a little suspicious when she realized that they were traveling all the way across town.  She knew something more was going on when they stopped in the parking lot. Kilee handed Breanna a handwritten letter from Draelon and 3 red roses. Immediately she caught onto what was happening and became emotional. The proposal continued as Kilee chauffeured Breanna around for a scavenger hunt across Milwaukee. Draelon selected 3 places of significance in their relationship: Their first date, first apartment and his grandparent’s house. At each location Breanna was given a handwritten letter from Drae and was gifted 3 roses.  There was an individual that was meaningful to each location waiting there to present her with roses. The final location was the Retzer Nature Preserve in Waukesha. Breanna was escorted with her 9 roses down a gorgeous trail lined with fall foliage. As she circled the final bend, in Breanna’s normal fashion she screamed as saw her handsome soon to be fiancé anxiously awaiting her arrival.  In hand Drae held the last 3 red roses to complete the dozen. He got down on one knee and stammered out some beautiful and emotional words (neither Breanna or Drae can remember exactly what he said) and asked the love of his life to be his forever. Breanna exclaimed “YES” 10 times in a row and Drae slipped the sparkling engagement ring on her finger. Drae had a hidden photographer who was able to capture the unforgettable proposal.”
