“Joe and I met as ski instructors in Jackson Hole. Our lockers were right next to each other and from the first day of ski school it was history. We spent every waking minute together; skiing, hiking, hot springs, night skiing, swing dancing, bowling. Joe also proposed at the top of the tram. We still live in Jackson and for our wedding the main thing was having it out in Jackson for our friends and family to come out and experience all the beauty. All our grandparents were able to make it, which made the week so special. My grandfather drove all the dresses and welcome bags from Birmingham, AL. We chose our venue because of the views and it was a place my entire family could stay all week so it was the gathering place. Also being in the Elk Refuge and it has never been used as a wedding venue so that was special to us. Every time Joe would take me home from a date we always drove through the Elk Refuge before he dropped me off, we would always watch the sunsets together. We chose our photographer because of the amazing job she did on our engagement photos.”
