“We met at a run club, both of us trying to outrun stress, expectations, and life’s messiness. Neither of us expected that those miles would turn into the start of our forever. Looking back, it feels like life knew we needed each other long before we did. We were both in a fragile place when we crossed paths, and in that shared vulnerability, we found a way to lift each other up and rediscover our spark. Since then, we’ve watched sunrises from mountaintops and floated beneath starry skies in the middle of the ocean. We shared wine, danced until our legs were numb, and sang until our voices disappeared. We’re still healing, still growing, but we’re stronger because we’re doing it side by side. Blake proposed under the fall foliage in Franconia Notch, and recently said ‘I do’ in one of our favorite oases—Lake Tahoe. We feel endlessly grateful that life brought us together, and we’re committed to showing up for each other every day as we keep building a life full of meaning, joy, and adventure.”
