“Nick and Carolina had reached out to me early last summer wanting to book an engagement shoot. She was suggesting locations like James Peak Wilderness and Mount Evans area so I knew they were very familiar with the mountains and most likely up for an adventure. We had originally planned for a sunset session at Summit Lake up near Mount Evans but we got rained out. I suggested that we should try to shoot that next morning for sunrise and they were super into it! It ended up being the most epic sunrise with some moody clouds and the most insane pinks/reds/oranges painting the sky. We had the best time and they were so awesome to work with. With an elevation of almost 13,000 feet it was around 25 degrees for sunrise and they were troopers. The cold temps and early wakeup was so worth it. They plan to get married in the fall of 2023 in Rocky Mountain National Park with close friends and family.”
