“We planned a full day of adventure for Janelle and Gabe. They started by getting ready in an incredible, modern mountain home in Ouray, Colorado. After their first look, they had a gorgeous styled picnic in the forest behind the house, complete with cake and drinks. Then we headed out into the mountains to explore an incredible alpine lake, and a remote mountain pass where they read vows to each other as the sun set, and coyotes howled in the distance. We even passed herds of sheep along the way (it seriously felt like we were in Switzerland!). This day was the perfect mix of adventure, and fancy, which I think is a pretty accurate representation of an elopement day. Just because you are eloping doesn’t mean you need to sacrifice the gorgeous, romantic details to make the day extra special.”
