“Julia and Shehran’s Downtown Denver wedding weekend began at Le Méridien hotel for Julia’s wedding henna by Akanska Henna Wednesday night. Thursday began at Transform Pilates with a happy hour at Postino just before Julia and Shehran’s wedding ceremony rehearsal at Grant Humphrey’s Mansion. Friday began with Julia and Shehran’s wedding party at Transform Pilates with photos of the couple at Denver Botanic Gardens that followed. Family photos were taken at Denver Ironworks Hotel just before Julia and Shehran’s Gaye Holud ceremony with videography by Saucedo Media. Julia and Shehran’s wedding weekend continued on Saturday beginning with Barry’s Bootcamp and bridal party makeup with breakfast. Julia and Shehran’s first looks followed by Danna Frost Photography at Le Méridien Rooftop and photos of the couple at Cheesman Park in Downtown Denver. Julia and Shehran’s wedding ceremony was held at Grant Humphrey’s Mansion. Guests were welcomed with an espresso cart and martinis. Pianist David Brussel played ‘Pursuit of Happiness’ for the groom, Shehran, and the family and ‘Canon in D’ for bride, Julia, and her father, officiated by Alok. Mendelssohn’s ‘Wedding March’ was played for Julia and Shehran’s recessional after their ceremony. Their wedding weekend dinner followed with a street taco station filled to order on 4.5″ corn tortillas including halal meat chicken tinga, halal meat carne asada, calabacitas (squash & peppers) with toppings including cilantro, crumbled queso fresco, pickled red onion, fresh lime, roasted tomatillo salsa, roasted tomato salsa, chopped onion, Borracho Beans, red ancho chile, poblano pepper, cilantro, as well as a kale & green apple salad with kale ribbons, feta, walnuts, and an apple cider vinaigrette. Toasts followed with cake cutting and dancing. The father of the bride and Julia danced to ‘What Wonderful World’ and the mother of the groom and Shehran danced to ‘Once Upon a Dream’. Grilled cheese snacks were passed as a late night snack with a final dance for Julia and Shehran just before midnight.”
