“Jimmy and Emily’s love story is a unique one. It started with a foundation of friendship and over playdates with their boys. Jimmy’s smile when describing some of their initial interactions says it all. ‘My attraction to Emily began to set like concrete, becoming more and more reinforced over time and never ceasing. Not only was she an amazing mother but she presented herself in a really special way that emphasized her beauty and elegance. I was captivated from the start; it was a gravitational pull I had never experienced. She’s beautiful, kind and fiercely protective.’ Emily fell in love with Jimmy’s gentle demeanor, intellect, passion for his career (firefighter) and pride as a father. ‘Beyond the undeniable physical attraction, the way he cared, not only for me, but my son early-on made me fall hard and fast in both love and admiration.’ Jimmy and Emily have a playful, witty banter. It’s clear they bring undeniable joy to each other’s lives. Jimmy was eager to share about the moment he knew Emily was the one. ‘I was in love with her as a partner and mother to our boys, but the moment I knew with zero hesitation that I would forever love this woman was during a visit from longtime friends. Emily’s childhood friend Brandon and his wife visited in the fall of 2022. Brandon had been diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) two years prior. Emily took it upon herself to plan a bucket list-style trip to Sun Valley for Brandon and his wife. She dedicated hours of her time and focus to making their trip special and memorable. While at dinner, Brandon and Sam were describing how thankful they were for Emily’s efforts and how much it meant to them. I recall looking at Emily and seeing a selfless woman who is driven to advocate for those she loves. In that moment, I saw the love of my life.’
