“College sweethearts, Jenny and Tyler meet and fell in love at Loyola Marymount university. After 11 years (a wedding 4516 days in the making) they wanted to make it official in their favorite part of the world, the Sierra Nevada mountains at Lake Tahoe. Some of the couples favorite memories include countless trips to Lake Tahoe (from swimming in alpine lakes, to cozy snowed in nights) adventuring in national parks, and watching survivor every Wednesday night. With a family vacation to Lake Tahoe planned with both families, Tyler knew that would be the perfect time to propose. On September 22, 2022 Tyler got down on one knee on the shore of South Lake Tahoe, along the same path the couple had walked along countless times over the years. Not only did he pull off the surprise by pretending we were taking family Christmas card photos, but he managed to bring Jenny’s brother, in from Boston and have a party ready back at the house. The weekend was followed by one of their favorite concerts, Luke Combs and a trip to their favorite South Lake Tahoe brewery AleWorX. Jenny wore her late grandmother’s homemade wedding dress to the bridal shower. She then used some extra lace from the dress to wrap around her bouquet and the her dad’s boutonniere.”
