“Jon and Lyndsey met in 2015, through mutual friends where they fondly remember that it would only take a few minutes of conversation before they both knew there was an immediate connection. Jon and Lyndsey would get to know one another better through hiking, high school events and talking for hours in the local teenage hang out, the infamous Sonic parking lot of course. When the time came for college, Jon and Lyndsey headed to Colorado State University (Go Rams). During their time at CSU, Jon and Lyndsey made some of their favorite college memories together, including late night study sessions in the library, making lifelong friends through Greek life and formals, attending football games and listening to live music at their favorite Lucky Joes. After college, Jon and Lyndsey decided it was time for another change and moved to the big D to start a new chapter where they would embark on their careers. They absolutely love the Dallas, Texas lifestyle, especially Tex Mex, margaritas, the Katy Trail and their shared love of sports. They love exploring the hidden gems of uptown Dallas and always find their way to a piano bar at the end of a night out. In Fall of 2021, Jon would lure Lyndsey to the 16th Street Mall Bridge under the pretense that they were “heading to Tavernetta for a wine tasting”. So focused on the wine tasting, Lyndsey did not anticipate Jon getting down on one knee to propose! Of course she said yes, but was confused and a little sad when she realized the wine tasting was a ruse. However, the big surprise engagement party that awaited her was so much better! Jon and Lyndsey are so excited for the next chapter. Heading into the future, Jon is looking forward to Lyndsey finally letting him get a dog and together they hope to do lots of traveling, move into a home and someday start a family.”
