“When building this cliff-hanger of a home from the ground up, the father of the bride – had his daughter’s future wedding in mind. The log home was even featured on Longhome due to its commendable design. So when it came time for Seattle, Washington based bride and groom, Jordyn Fleming and Austin Ellis’s to begin their forever together, the couple gave no thought to any outside or traditional venues. On a warm, sun-stricken weekend in July, Jordyn and Austin were joined by 130 loved ones, including their two young children, for a western wedding weekend. To commence the celebratory weekend, guests gathered for a festive welcome under the afternoon sun. Family and friends lounged on bales of hay while enjoying barbeque, designed their own western hats, and enjoyed a blazing river-side bonfire with smores as the night cap. In true residential fashion for these private estate nuptials, guests gathered in scattered seating overlooking the mountains for the couple’s July wedding ceremony. Jordyn wore Elie Saab. The escort display featured individually wrapped disposable cameras and guests were encouraged to capture the celebration in the mountains. The photos were developed and turned into an online gallery where guests could download them as they wished – a delight for all. The evening continued in a beautiful tented reception, which fittingly featured wooden beams, wildflower varieties, and a ‘mountain margarita bar.’”
