“In the heart of Park City’s Deer Valley, Carolyn and Corey’s wedding unfolded like a modern-day fairy tale, blending their love story with the breathtaking landscape of the Wasatch Mountains. The pair met on a summer night in 2019 at a lively Jersey shore bar, where Carolyn and Corey’s paths first crossed among mutual friends. Their romance blossomed against the backdrop of bustling Philadelphia, but it was their winter retreat to Park City during the pandemic that truly sealed their love for each other. Four years later, they chose the Stein Eriksen Lodge for their wedding, a venue that perfectly reflected their timeless love and the natural beauty that had captured their hearts. The celebration kicked off with a spirited Western-themed bash at The Bridge, where guests enjoyed the thrill of a mechanical bull and danced the night away to live country music. Situated right on Park City’s Main Street, it was a perfect way to welcome their 120 out-of-town guests to Utah. The next day, Stein Eriksen Lodge transformed into an English garden-inspired dream, adorned with soft blues, greens, and pastels that complemented the mountain backdrop. Every detail spoke of romance and personal meaning: Carolyn’s niece, Nina, wore the same flower girl dress that Carolyn had worn decades earlier. The bride herself wore a veil box handcrafted a century ago by her great aunt and worn by generations of Horner women, including her mother on her wedding day. The ceremony, officiated by Carolyn’s sister, was filled with heartfelt moments, including an Irish Blessing honoring their grandmothers—a beautiful tribute to their roots. Personalized touches, like a guest seating chart featuring Carolyn’s mother’s favorite quote, ‘bloom where you are planted,’ added warmth and familiarity to the celebration. The guests danced the night away under a jaw-dropping flower chandelier adorned with golden chandeliers, greenery and flowers. It felt like a Bridgerton ball come to life! It was a weekend of love, laughter, and cherished moments shared with family and friends, set against the backdrop of a place that had become their sanctuary and symbol of their journey together. Carolyn and Corey’s wedding was not just a celebration of their love but a reflection of the beauty and joy found in embracing life’s adventures.”
