“Amidst Vancouver’s moody January gloom, we dreamed up the idea of a downtown, studio reception safe from the rain. With ‘something blue’, we aimed to combine traditional wedding elegance with something lively, fresh and playful; classic yet casual. Blue accents were, of course, integral to our vision. Together with Chelsea Ann Florals, we designed a reception tablescape featuring vintage tea cups, crystal glassware and playful stationery to achieve an indoor, winter rendition of a whimsical garden party. Our wedding cake had our mouths watering for warmer weather with notes of summertime: chamomile and zesty citrus. This styled elopement was a nod to weddings of the past with an exciting, colourful, and modern take. Bring on Spring!!”
