Comfy and Unique In-Home Engagement Photos

“Stan and I met in the midst of the pandemic when we both happened to attend an outdoor dinner held on the roof of Kirk’s Grocery, a small independent art gallery in downtown Billings. Nearby wildfires turned the sky an intense bright red that night. We walked around the roof before dinner was served, admiring the intense color, striking up conversations about art and the color red. Later in the evening, Stan messaged me a photo he had taken of a bright red light shining in the hallway, and it turned out I had also taken a photo in the exact same spot. We spent a few days sending each other photos of any beautiful red things we noticed throughout our days. The following week, he asked me to meet up for a drink and some pizza at Red Oxx and we had the best time. At that point, I had honestly sworn off being in a relationship because I was always so much happier on my own, but after our first date, I knew Stan was different. Nothing about being with him felt scary or uneasy, it felt like he was already my best friend. In March of 2022, I attended an art educator conference in New York, and Stan came along with me to visit friends from when he used to live there. We planned a museum day for our last day in New York, and when we walked through the Egyptian Wing of the Met (My favorite spot in NYC) he got down on his knee and asked me to marry him! We are so excited to get married in March and spend the rest of our lives adventuring together!”
