“Sometimes you just click – really click – with a client. The moment I met Nicole and Jordan, I knew their wedding was going to be special. Nicole was smitten with a sunset color palette for their tented garden wedding, and I was given the parameters of fun, vibrant, and whimsical, yet intentional, with a focus on food and family. The wedding day exceeded all expectations! Shades of orange, pink, yellow, green, and a hint of blue were woven through every detail – from the florals and paper pieces to the bridesmaid dresses. The vibrant colors were beautifully anchored by oatmeal linens, stoneware, and taupe napkins. Michelle from Blossom + Vine Florals instantly understood our vision and designed the florals seamlessly. It was a perfect match! To create this very simple, yet intentional vision, we sourced rentals from multiple different vendors, flawlessly creating that minimal but intentional design. Their ceremony was so full of love and emotion there wasn’t a dry eye in the audience. Guests alike embraced the couple’s love for color and dressed the part. After the ceremony our live band played the Horah, and guests danced and twirled in the late afternoon sun. Nicole and Jordan added so many personalized details from the color-blocked menus, table numbers and place cards, to three shades of custom match boxes (which we piled at the bar in glass vessels). Nicole’s Father and brother built their Chuppah. Nicole even worked close with Tonya from Paper Poet to design each colorful paper piece, with added custom pet graphics, hand-drawn by the bride’s brother. Food was so important to both families – not only quality but quantity too! After dinner, guests were treated to churros and ice cream for dessert – handmade and scooped to order from carts in the garden, and later we had a bicycle cart vendor handing out freshly made focaccia to fuel the dancing. The night finished with a dance band and a DJ set, making sure everyone had the time of their lives.”
