“I first ironically met Matt & Lindsay on a plane while we were both on the way to visit friends in Austin, Texas! I am not typically one to strike up a conversation on an early morning plane ride but I thought they were such a cute couple that I had to chat with them. Matt ended up mentioning to me that Lindsay was his Fiancé and I asked when they got engaged and it was only a few weeks ago! Before we got off the plane and went our separate ways I mentioned that I was a wedding photographer and if they were still looking for someone to capture engagement portraits for them I would love to be considered “but no pressure to them.” A little time goes by and Lindsay ends up reaching out to me to book a session! They are getting married next year in Cabo and I was unfortunately already booked on their date but she wanted to move forward with getting a session done. She envisioned half of the session being captured at the Terminal Bar in Denver’s Union Station and the other half captured somewhere that showcases Colorado’s beautiful landscape. The Terminal Bar was actually one of the first places Matt & Lindsay met on the date and during the session they were able to get the exact same seats they sat at the first time they met. So it was really meant to be! We then wrapped up in Denver and drove up to Stanley Lake to capture the beautiful golden hour sunset amongst the wildflowers! So they were able to get the best of both worlds with a classic city background and pretty Colorado scenery.”
