“We met on a dating app in May of 2020. Our first date was drinking beers on Nancy’s porch — we couldn’t go into any restaurants or bars with the pandemic still in full swing. We instantly connected over our love of cooking, skiing, and our families. In 2021 we moved into our first apartment, and in March of 2023 we bought our first house. We closed on March 15th, and Jon proposed in the empty living room of our brand new home three days later! After popping champagne and calling our families, a car pulled up to the house with some of our friends and drove us around town. It dropped us off at our favorite bar, where close friends and family were waiting to surprise & congratulate us. We both have a big family and many friends that mean the world to us, and our wedding is about bringing all of them together in the place we are fortunate enough to call home. We want to celebrate our marriage, and at the same time, celebrate the incredible community that’s supported us along the way. The weekend is going to be full of love, joy, and fun — and we can’t wait to get everybody on the dance floor!!”
