“Our story is a little bit unique, and honestly, we feel lucky that life lined up the way it did for us. Even though we grew up nearly 100 miles apart, we had no idea the other existed until one day I decided to send Holly a message. Not long after, I found myself making that 100-mile drive to pick up the woman who would change my life. Our first date wasn’t fancy, just KFC because neither of us wanted to wait for a table somewhere nicer, but it was perfect for us. We ended up leaving the movie early because talking to each other was so much better, and we just wanted more time together. From the beginning, everything with us felt easy. We clicked right away – same interests, same music, and the same love for long road trips. We spent countless late nights going to horse shows, rodeos, and anywhere the road took us. It didn’t take long for me to know Holly was the one. On April 10, 2022 – after one year, one month, and four days of dating – I finally worked up the courage to ask the girl of my dreams to marry me. After a long, dramatic pause on her part, she said yes, and I knew without a doubt that God had brought us together for a reason. We were married on September 23rd and have been happily building a life together ever since – raising two babies, loving good country music, working side by side, and making good horses together. Our story isn’t perfect or polished, but it’s ours, and we wouldn’t change a single part of it.”
