“Nicole and Ian might be two of the most attractive people I have ever photographed. When Nicole told me her vision for their engagement shoot, I knew it was going to be magazine-worthy! Hotel Jerome in Aspen was the perfect location for her vision of old-money modern flair for their film photographs. The digitals are stunning as well, but the film photos really transport you back in time. The absolute modern elegance of these photos makes them unlike anything I have ever seen or have gotten to capture. Completely timeless! It was such a unique engagement session. It was the perfect balance of modern city-luxury-hotel vibes and epic mountain scenery! After all, how do you go to Aspen, Colorado, and NOT shoot in the mountains? The fall colors were peak perfection, and the colors captured on film are perfection! Along with Nicole and Ian, their dogs, Blue and Ziti, were stunning and so much fun to photograph! You could feel just how obsessed Ian was with Nicole! I swear they could be GQ models! They have never had professional photos before, and you would have thought they were professional models! Nicole and Ian made their custom western hats at Kemosabe in Aspen for their wedding and engagement session. They styled themselves a perfect combo of timeless and western just like the locations. They are planning their micro Aspen wedding for August 2026 in the Maroon Bells and plan on getting ready photos at the Jerome Hotel and their reception at the Mollie Hotel in Aspen, and instead of a dancing party at the reception, they plan to bar hop to all of the downtown Aspen bars with their guests.”
