“Natalie and Rachel met while living in DC. Natalie was working as an attorney, and Rachel was beginning law school. They later found out they worked at the same place! Their first date was in a park in DC, where they brought a pizza and sat on a picnic blanket. As soon as they kissed, they noticed they were being heckled by nearby teenage boys. What made them fall for one another was that they’d always felt like they’d known each other; it was a supportive, loving, and fun connection that led them to fall in love. When asked about their perfect date together, they said, ‘Taking our dog for a walk on the beach and then trying a new restaurant. If we are feeling wild and aren’t asleep by 10pm, we go to our favorite Thai dessert cafe and then end the night cozy in bed, falling asleep to an episode of SVU.'”
