“Zach and Devin may have arrived at their engagement session less than thrilled about being in front of the camera, but you’d never know it looking at the photos. The two Los Angeles residents got engaged on a hiking trail outside the city, exchanging watches instead of traditional rings, and knew Santa Fe was the perfect place for their destination wedding. While in town planning their celebration, they decided to make a little time for engagement photos, too — partly to capture the beauty of Santa Fe’s architecture and partly to get a little more comfortable in front of the camera before the big day. Their wish list was simple: great outfits, a cool setting, and photos of them looking relaxed, happy, and like themselves. We wandered along Canyon Road, surrounded by adobe architecture, colorful doors, and the unmistakable charm of Santa Fe. And somewhere between the initial camera shyness and the inevitable realization that having your photo taken together can actually be fun, we ended up with a collection of images that feels entirely like them.”
