“Shooting a couples session on a rooftop in Fort Collins for Faith and Ian was a wonderful experience. Their wedding in 2022 got rained out, but they didn’t let that dampen their spirits. Instead, they started modeling for photographers to capture as many beautiful images together as possible. I was inspired by Faith and Ian’s desire to do something different from the usual Colorado scenes of mountains and nature. Opting for an urban rooftop setting allowed us to create a unique backdrop that symbolized their willingness to break away from the norm and embrace change. During the session, we captured candid moments of their playful interactions and genuine laughter. Their love radiated through each photo, reflecting the depth of their connection and their ability to find joy in unexpected circumstances. Photographing Faith and Ian on the rooftop allowed us to capture a part of their unique love story—one that went beyond the typical natural beauty of Colorado and embraced the beauty of their bond against an urban backdrop.
