“Jaclyn and Jake’s destination Colorado mountain wedding was a couple years in the making as they had originally been planning a late summer wedding in 2022, but the bride tragically experienced an accident a couple weeks before their wedding and had to pivot and postpone to the following summer… and then postpone again as she recovered. As it always happens, weddings commence and happen the way they’re supposed to – at the right time, in the right place with the right people. It was a moody and stormy July day at Purgatory Resort with many memorable moments made possible by mother nature – the clouds parting with some sun peaking out and bird song coming on right as the ceremony began and also the dramatic storm booming just as the ceremony commenced. Jaclyn and Jake were able to be outside in the alpine beauty, however before the ceremony and later for the perfect golden hour lighting. We were all so happy to see these two wed on the mountain as they had been dreaming to do for a good three years in the making!”
