“We had our wedding in my hometown, Mantua, Utah. We had dated for a few years and got engaged in the Dominican Republic. Our bridals were located on a mountain in Mantua where I would often go in my teens. We made sure to include the “famous” Mantua Poppies as well in our bridals. Our wedding incorporated small and handmade details of our personal lives including a homemade gluten free cake that my mom made (it melted right before the reception- haha), and a disco ball and lights that my dad personally hung over my backyard. The ring ceremony was in our neighbor’s yard. Watson’s mom and my mom’s friends created all the floral arrangements, and his mom made my bouquet. We ended the night with fireworks and our friends and family threw rice during our exit with cones my mom made out of old sheet music (I grew up playing the piano).”
