“In May 2023, Tyler got down on one knee at Arrowleaf Winery in Lake Country, British Columbia; a place that had already become so special to us. We’d spent many weekends there at Tyler’s family vacation home, so when it came time to plan our wedding, having it in Lake Country was an easy decision. When we toured 50th Parallel Estate Winery with our planner, Cassandra of White Haven Weddings, we immediately fell in love with the breathtaking panoramic ceremony view and the modern reception space framed by floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the vineyards. Our vision for the day was timeless, elegant, and simple- allowing the beauty of the venue to shine. The groomsmen wore classic black suits with bow ties, while the bridesmaids wore sleek black dresses mirroring the neckline of my wedding gown. I carried a calla lily bouquet, and our floral arrangements featured calla lilies and white hydrangeas surrounded by soft candlelight. One of our favorite personal touches was the draped fabric designs I created myself for our cake stand and sweetheart table. I also designed all of our stationery, from bar signs and table numbers to menus and seating tags, to ensure every detail felt cohesive and intentional. Our wedding day truly felt like a dream come true; clear blue skies, warm sunshine, and every moment unfolding exactly as we had hoped. We’re so grateful to Keeley and Michael for capturing every detail so beautifully. It was a day that perfectly reflected our love: effortless, joyful, and filled with light.”
