“Aldus and I first met out at school in Virginia. He was on the soccer team, and I was on the tennis team. We had a lot of mutual friends and would hangout quite a bit but always in group settings. It was always super casual when we would hang out together and it never really turned into anything. That was until a year later, when Aldus finally asked me on a date! We instantly became attached and were constantly wanting to be with one another. We did everything together from that point on and we became best friends. Aldus is from Washington, and I am from Utah but after a few months of dating, he came to stay with my family and I over Christmas break and my family fell in love with him! After a year and a half of dating, we went on a trip to London with my family. It was so special being able to explore together with my family and fall more in love. After our trip was over, we stopped back at school in Virginia on our way home. Little did I know that’s where Aldus was going to propose to me! He proposed at the same spot we had our first date in the Blue Ridge Mountains. It was so special getting engaged where our love story started!”
