“Katie and Chase met organically through mutual friends while attending the University of Arizona. One day, Chase invited Katie to his family’s ranch in Southern Arizona under the pretense of wanting to ‘get some landscape shots,’ turning what could have been a casual outing into a memory that would last forever with his surprise proposal. Enveloped by the natural beauty of La Mariposa Resort in Tucson, Arizona, Katie and Chase brought a garden wedding aesthetic to the heart of the desert. Katie envisioned an ethereal and airy celebration, beginning with a scenic ceremony set among towering trees and framed by distant mountains. She shimmered in a flowing gown adorned with delicate beading, sheer details across the bodice, and a veil appliqued with soft leaf motifs. At the altar, pastel florals swirled around elegant pillars, creating a gentle, dreamlike space where the couple exchanged vows. The florals, an embrace of soft pastels, were among Katie’s favorite details of the day, while the rest of the decor featured a calming palette of whites and golds. The outdoor reception continued the romantic tone with a tent strung in twinkle lights to form an open, starlit ceiling. Hung with chandeliers and trailing greenery, the space offered a warm, inviting glow, open to the night sky, allowing the desert air to sweep gently through.”
