“Gil first reached out to me with a plan – he wanted to propose to his girlfriend, Katherine, in Glacier National Park, somewhere breathtaking, somewhere unforgettable. He had his heart set on Logan Pass, with its sweeping mountain views, and we worked together to make sure every detail was just right. The beauty of it all? Katherine never suspected a thing. She and Gil often take travel photos together, dressing up and setting up their tripod for the perfect shot. So, when they ventured into Glacier at sunset, it felt just like another one of their adventures. On the evening of July 19th, we put the plan into motion. Katherine and Gil drove through the park, taking in the stunning scenery, with Katherine unknowingly carrying the dress she’d later wear for their engagement session. As the sun dipped lower, they arrived at Logan Pass. Gil set up his camera as if they were about to take their usual tripod photos, but this time, I was there – tucked off to the side, waiting. As soon as they were in position, Gil got down on one knee. Katherine’s reaction was pure magic – laughter, tears, absolute joy. She was completely caught off guard in the best way possible. And just like that, one of their greatest adventures became the start of something even bigger. After the proposal, we spent the evening capturing that just-engaged glow across Logan Pass, Big Bend, and the cliffs of St. Mary Lake. The joy between them was undeniable – Katherine radiated happiness, and Gil couldn’t stop smiling, knowing he had absolutely nailed it. It was the kind of night that felt like a dream, one where every little detail fell into place just as it was meant to.”
