The stunning, versatile spaces allowed our friends and family to explore, take photos, and discover delightful moments throughout the property. From the photobooth and chandelier barn photo spot to the audio guestbook and hand-written note wall, every detail was thoughtfully curated to make our guests feel entertained and cherished. The disco was a highlight, providing a lively atmosphere for guests to let loose and enjoy themselves. Additionally, for our out-of-town guests staying at hotels, we prepared welcome baskets with eclipse glasses and a timeline guide, as our wedding coincided with a solar eclipse—a unique, unforgettable touch. The most memorable moment was walking into the Gate House and seeing Lori’s breathtaking ceiling installation was an incredibly surprising moment—in the best way possible. The sight was so stunning that it brought me to the verge of tears. It was truly epic! Another unforgettable moment was reading our own vows. It was deeply personal and moving, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to other couples. Finally, watching our friends and family parade from the Gate House to the Dove House disco, decked out in feather boas and 70s-inspired outfits, was pure joy. The energy and laughter during that procession were unforgettable. As a copywriter and with Vic being an English teacher, our shared love of literature has always been central to our relationship. We wanted our wedding to reflect that passion, so we incorporated a book-binding ceremony where we stitched our vows into a book that we can treasure forever. This meaningful ritual added a deeply personal touch to our day. Our aesthetic blended vintage elegance with playful modern elements.
