The global pandemic turned everyones world upside down and ruined many hopes and dreams for fairytale weddings. Nonetheless, Steamboat Springs and La Joya Dulce still came through and allowed our fairytale wedding to happen. After narrowing down various Colorado towns to have our wedding at, none of them were as special to us as Steamboat. The casual western mountain vibes, the ranch, and friendly people all felt like home to us. Mountain views, ski slopes, and accessibility were all things we took into account when choosing a location; as most of the guests for the wedding were coming in from the East coast. We wanted to give them a wonderful winter getaway to remember. Our guests loved every aspect of the sweet little mountain town we now call our second home. We are forever in love with Callie, our photographer, who caught all the perfect moments. Mandy and Kathie, of LJD, were the absolute best and perfect hosts for our special day. Shanon and I would wish we could relive that week for the rest of our lives. It was epic and an absolutely perfect winter wedding.
