Wintertime in the Rockies is one of the most magical times to tie the knot, the snow, the cool air, and don’t forget the stunning views of the snow capped mountains. If you’ve decided to get married in the Rockies in the wintertime you’ll want to be prepared for any and all types of weather, because you never know what you’ll end up in, especially when eloping in the mountains. We’ve rounded up our favorite dresses and all the accessories that you’ll need to get married in the winter!

1. Grace Loves Lace | Orla

We love this classic, confident, and timeless dress for a winter wedding. This dress is crafted and contoured to perfection to accentuate your curves in all the right places. Made from an abstract 3-dimensional lace with a luminous pearl thread and delicate eyelash trim. Choose from a fresh ivory or chai lining for a more neutral look or classic white bridal. This dress is finished off with a scalloped edge neckline, daring low back, and a bottom-hugging gathering. Its long sleeves keep your arms covered and warmer during those chilly Rocky Mountain days.

2. Grace Loves Lace | Eve

Eve is perfect for the elegant woman who wants a twist on tradition. This dress is designed with a double layer of tulle, meticulously positioned to create a dreamy, voluminous skirt that becomes mesmerizing as it moves. Finished off with a flattering sweetheart neckline, magnificent lace skirt, and classic, scalloped high neck. The subtle gathered sleeves provide an extra layer of coverage to your arms against the cooler air.

3. Grace Loves Lace | Monet

This dress is lavish and artistic, designed for the romantic bride. With a fitted bodice, slim long sleeve and full circle skirt that gracefully moves with you this dress brings all the romantic drama. It is detailed with intricately placed, embroidered motifs and a chai tone lining to bring out Grace Loves Lace signature Chantilly lace. Float down the aisle with a divine, low-V back, secure bodice and built-in cups, you’ll feel every bit supported by this special gown.

4. Fur

This adorable bride wore her hubby’s great grandmother’s fur jacket to keep family close to them while they eloped. Fur is perfect for winter elopements to keep you warm while you hike to your ceremony. See more of this elopement in our upcoming Canada Fall/Winter issue which you can pre-order here!

This bride, featured in our Telluride Wedding Guide, opted for a faux fur stool for her fall wedding in the Rockies. We love that this look is very transitional and can be worn many different ways. If you don’t want to opt for one, place your bridesmaids in them to stay warm during your ceremony.
