When Cassie and Brett were first planning their elopement they knew that they wanted to have their ceremony in a place that was quintessence of Colorado and for them that was Telluride. It was somewhere that the couple had never been and they knew that it would be another perfect adventure together.
They drove down from Denver in their Toyota FJ cruiser (pictured below) with only two special guests in tow: Cassie’s best friend, and Brett’s brother. Out in a beautiful field of untouched snow sitting against the backdrop of towering mountains Cassie and Brett self-unionized in one of the most beautiful ceremonies I have been able to capture.
After the ceremony the couple celebrated with shots of 151 bourbon and some impromptu snow angels after Brett tackled Cassie in the snow, as you can see she wasn’t that mad about it. They had their first dance as at 10,000. From the bride’s beautifully gothic bouquet, to their matching snow boots, it was a picturesque moment two adventurous lovers. One I hope continues to bring them joy for years to come.
