I wanted to share photos of my beautiful wedding day, and highlight the beautiful work that my vendors below put together. My husband Sam and I were married on June 8th, 2019 at Willowbridge Private Estate in Eagle, Idaho. We had a Jewish/Military wedding complete with a mix of traditions.
We are high school sweethearts, and met down the street from the venue that we were married in! We stayed together throughout all of college. I work in politics in DC and Sam is in the Navy training to be a Fighter Jet Pilot. He proposed in May of 2019 during the week he was commissioned as an officer in the Navy. We knew immediately that we wanted to be married in our hometown of Eagle, Idaho, where we met.
We had two military moves during the time of wedding planning, and the planners at Ira & Lucy made the entire experience for us smooth and fun.
Our wedding day took our breath away! We were married under a custom Chuppah and departed down the aisle under a traditional military sword arch. Our wedding party was 18 people large, and we all were seated at a long and grand head table, decorated perfectly by Ira & Lucy staff and Kara from Just So Floral. We celebrated with our closest family and friends, over 150 of them traveled from out of town.
We finished the evening with a traditional Horah dance, where myself, my husband and our parents were lifted into chairs.
We couldn’t have envisioned a more beautiful day to celebrate our marriage and the 8 years we have been together since high school. Sam, my husband, is currently stationed in Texas for flight training, and I am traveling the country working on political campaigns.
