The Inspiration

This elopement was inspired by the muted pastel colours of a winter morning on a frozen lake. With wispy pampas grass and muted sage coloured greens and blush roses, Love Her Wild provided a whimsical backdrop to this lakefront ceremony. The intimate setup and bohemian touches provided by Past Pieces were perfect for a private elopement. A Sweet Kiwi sweetheart cake and champagne to celebrate after the vows and a cozy canoe ready to take the couple away for a private moment on the lake. The beautiful custom tulle gown created by Hannah Tikkanen covered the bride and groom from the chilly February air and the handmade veil from Jane Rhyan and bloom pins from Simone Martin added pops of Spring to the icy tulle dress. The couple celebrated their marriage after their intimate ceremony with a champagne pop and snuggled up together in their canoe.
