Laurel + Mike

Laurel and Mike have the greatest energy in any two people I’ve ever met! Mike’s mom had contacted me a few months before their wedding and asked if she could hire me to shoot an engagement session as a gift to her son and soon to be daughter-in-law. I hadn’t met the couple until the session on a busy beach in White Rock. We had a few laughs at how busy the beach was, and just made the best of the situation. I convinced them to get in the water, snuggle and kiss as if no one was around. The love I felt between these two was so obvious, we were in our world that day. It took a lot of convincing to get them to kick water directly at my camera, but it made some of these images so much fun! We stayed right until the sun went down, and they were absolutely thrilled with the outcome. Meeting couples like Laurel & Mike are why I love my job so much, we’re now friends for life!
