Hannah + Cody
Cody and I met 10 years ago, as freshman in high school in Southern California. We were good friends throughout high school, and went our separate ways when we went to college. I went to North Carolina to play soccer, and Cody set off to Colorado to play baseball. We stayed in touch for the first few years of college, seeing each other and our group of friends when we would come home for breaks. Over one of those breaks, we realized that we wanted to date, and dove straight into two years of long distance. He would fly to North Carolina to watch my soccer games, and I would fly to Colorado to watch him play baseball. When graduation finally came we briefly moved back to California before I accepted a job in Wyoming, and he decided make the big move with me! On the one year anniversary of us moving our lives up to Wyoming, we took a camping trip to Green River Lakes in Kendall Valley, WY. At the half way point of a very long day hike, 13.5 miles to be exact, he pretended to reach into his backpack to get a “snack”, and pulled out a ring instead. Needless to say, I said yes and nine months later we were married in Moran, Wyoming at the beautiful Diamond Cross Ranch.
