Our wedding was so special and unforgettable. The day wouldn’t have been possible without all the love from family and friends to help us with our vision. From hanging all the lights and fabric by tractors to lighting all the gold candles! The flowers were breathtaking from the one and only Tara Bella Flowers. We had a ton of special touches to the wedding that were all made possible by family and friends. A few examples were the shawls, amber glasses, and pumpkins.
We looked all over southern and western Idaho’s thrift stores for amber goblets! Yes the ones that you saw in your grandmas cabinet around the 70s. They just fit the warm October vibe we were going for so well. Family and friends started to get in on the hunt as well and found more in their travels. We ended up finding the 280 that we needed!
Another touch were the “shawls” that were given too all the women at the wedding in case the Idaho October breeze was too much. They were all hand cut by the brides team and hand sewn by the groom and brides mothers.
The pumpkins came from a pumpkin patch called Landers, that we would always visit when we were younger. They had ALL the Cinderella pumpkins we needed to make a dreamy October wedding feel unique.
The pies that we had for dessert were all made from aunts grandmas and friends! Along with that we had homemade Hooch (apple pie) to warm the heart!
So fun to have homemade treats to go along with our dutch oven dinner!! How the Dutch Oven Den out of Boise made a warm Dutch oven dinner for 280 is beyond me, but it was so good.
Our wedding was so sentimental in every way it will never be forgotten. Our good friend Jimmy who married us was a total stud and agreed to marry us even though he has never married anyone else before! Our Dj was a good friend out of Bend, Oregon that was so happy to make the drive over. Our photographer Christine Marie Photography (who is one of the brides best friends) took the most amazing pictures.
Our family isn’t the best public speakers and their speeches were so on point. I can’t believe my brother cried (he never cries)!
The whole day I was relaxed and enjoying every second! I’m also shy in front of big crowds and after our ceremony I just wanted to go back and relive it all over again.
