“Mike and I met over three years ago on St. Patrick’s day at a bar in Denver. We had many mutual friends, but this was the first time we had ever met. Now, this isn’t where the sparks went flying. All I can remember was Venmo requesting him for the Irish Car Bombs and food I ordered for the table. Fast forward six months later, our paths crossed again on a beautiful sunny day at Cheeseman Park in Denver with a bunch of close friends. We all went to Marczyk, a local shop for sandwiches beforehand. I remember thinking how cute Mike was standing in line ordering his favorite mango chutney sandwich. We hit it off at the park- he asked if I wanted a bite of his sandwich, and I asked for his number. We spent countless amounts of time together after that day. We spent most of our time enjoying hikes, long ski weekends in the mountains, concerts, camping trips, and spontaneous road trips across the West. We knew early on we had found our person for life. Mike stepped in as the best dog dad to our six-year-old German shepherd Jackson. We got engaged at Jackson Hole ski resort doing what we love most, skiing and spending time in the mountains with our closest friends. We initially planned a 150 person wedding in Denver, and once COVID hit, it made us take a step back like many of us did during this time and reevaluated what was most important to us. We canceled the venue we had in Denver and decided to plan our wedding in the greater Jackson Hole area and bring it back to where it all started. We cut our guest list down to 70 and kept it to our closest friends and family for an intimate celebration in the place we cherished the most!”
