Oh, do we love a good collaboration. There is nothing more fun than seeing a team of wedding professionals let their hair down and design something truly unique! Our shoot was inspired by the beautifully quaint setting of a local flower farm, the Fresh Herb Company, in Longmont, Colorado. The property provided us with endless color and gorgeous views in every direction. Our real couple, Anna & Bryan, were recently married in October of 2016. Bryan will soon be departing for Coast Guard boot camp, so they were thrilled to participate in the shoot to have some photos as keepsakes during their time apart.
We aimed to create a timeless look for all seasons incorporating dark blues and black against neutral white tones for our intimate table setting for 4. We love using texture for added dimension and brought that element into our design with driftwood and concrete floral vases, marbled plates, chiffon, vintage glassware, and a playful mix of poufs for seating.
We wanted to create separate spaces with distinction. Along with MJM Designs and Wallflower Rentals, we were able to pull together the coziest lounge setting to complement the surrounding flower gardens – even creating a faux lamp with a floral lampshade!
The flower gardens and greenhouse provided a simply romantic backdrop for our couple portraits with rows and rows of budding lilies and snapdragons. The orange and purple flower fields illuminated by the Colorado evening light was absolute magic. Anna looked stunning in a full-sleeved lace gown by The Bridal Collection and some seriously lovely pieces of jewelry by a local favorite – Sarah O. Jewelry.
