Nestled at the base of the beautiful Snowy Range Mountains and just a short 20-minute drive from Laramie, WY is the Vee Bar Guest Ranch, a charming venue boasting a dreamy historical lodge. It is an outdoorsman’s paradise and a magnificent background for a vintage mountain wedding. The crisp chill of winter, the bare branches, a gurgling river partially frozen over and the smell of a wood burning fireplace set the scene on this winter day.
The classic tulle ballgown with a crystal beaded lace bodice and scalloped hemline perfectly embodied the vintage style of the shoot. The creamy ivory color of the gown was perfectly complemented by the hints of fresh greenery, deep browns, and gold with a touch of cranberry that accented the other elements of the day.
The bride’s bouquet, as well as the beautiful 3 tiered carrot cake and reception tablescape, were decorated with pinecones and evergreen branches. Pinecones and pine trees also served as the inspiration for the rustic boxed invitation suit. Everything from the ranch’s aged wooden buildings to the vintage details came together to create a timeless aesthetic for any mountain wedding.
