Timeless Engagement Session at Sapphire Point Overlook

Although originally from Texas, Colorado is a special place for this sweet couple. Jessica and Josh originally met one summer while Jessica was working in Vail at a local ice cream shop. With Colorado now being their new home, these two opted for an engagement session in the beautiful mountains just outside of Breckenridge.
Sweet Jessica wore a gorgeous french blue dress, which paired so beautifully with Lake Dillon as a backdrop at Sapphire Point Overlook. Josh wore a timeless navy suit paired with a classic pair of brown loafers.
The love these two have for one another was simply contagious as you can tell from the photographs. Josh had Jessica laughing throughout the entire session.
During the middle of the session it began to rain, we sat in the car as we waited for the storm to pass. As the clouds blew in, the temperature began to drop and Jessica was cold. So Josh, being the gentleman that he is, offered her his jacket. This sweet moment is one of my favorites that I captured during the session, Jessica snuggled up in Josh’s jacket.
As the clouds cleared and the sun began to peak out from behind the mountains, we walked back to start taking photos again. I was able to sneak this photo of these two along the way, while Jessica still had on Josh’s jacket. You can almost feel the level of comfort and ease just from looking at this image and I think that is one of my favorite parts.
Colorado in the summertime is simply like no other place.
